Scalloped Potatoes with OKA Classique

If you don't have any OKA Classique, you can use : OKA with Mushrooms or OKA L'Artisan

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Peel, wash and slice the potatoes. Butter a gratin dish and spread the minced garlic. Stack a layer of potatoes with slices of leek. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix the cream and milk, pouring one third into the mix. Add a few slices of OKA. Repeat the process and top with nutmeg and the rest of the cheese. Bake for 45 minutes until well browned. Serve immediately.

  • 10 oz (300g) OKA Classique, sliced
  • 2 lbs (1 kilo) potatoes
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 1 cup (250ml) milk
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) 15% country style cream
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) leeks, finely minced
  • 1 tsp (5ml) salt
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) pepper
  • 1/4 tsp (1.2ml) nutmeg
