If you don't have any OKA Classique, you can use : OKA with Mushrooms or OKA L'Artisan

Preheat oven to 475°F (240°C). Sauté ham, green onions and mushrooms over medium heat in butter and oil in a frying pan for five to eight minutes. Add pepper and nutmeg. Mix well. Remove from heat and pour mixture into hot Béchamel sauce. Cut croissants open and place pieces on a baking sheet. Divide sauce and ham mixture equally over the croissant halves. Put a slice of cheese on each half and sprinkle with paprika. Brown in oven for approximately 10 minutes and serve immediately


Ingredients :
  • 6 ounces (175 g) OKA cheese
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) butter
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) olive oil
  • 2 cups (500 mL) cooked ham, cubed
  • 2 green onions, finely minced
  • 1 cup (250 mL) mushrooms, sliced
  • Pepper from the mill
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) nutmeg powder
  • 4 croissants
  • 2 cups (500 mL) ready-made Béchamel sauce
  • Paprika to taste
