OKA Country Tossed Salad

If you don't have any OKA Classique, you can use : OKA with Mushrooms or OKA L'Artisan

Arrange red- or green-leaf lettuce in a salad bowl. Add cucumber, ham, apple strips, green onion and herbs. Toss. Cut the OKA into small sticks and add to salad. Put the dressing ingredients in a jar and shake well. Pour over the salad and toss gently. Serve immediately.

  • 7 oz (200 g) OKA Classique cheese
  • 1 red or green leaf lettuce
  • 1 peeled cucumber, diced
  • 1 apple, cut into strips (sprinkle with lemon)
  • 4 slices cooked ham, cut into strips - 1 green onion, finely minced
  • 3 tbsps. (45 ml) finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tbsps. (30 ml) finely chopped fresh mint
  • Ingredients for dressing:
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) sunflower oil
  • 3 tbsps. (45 ml) apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp. (5 ml) Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
