If you don't have any OKA Classique, you can use : OKA with Mushrooms or OKA L'Artisan

Preheat the oven to 190C (375F). Roll out the pie dough in a 26cm x 26cm (10'' x 10'') square pan. Brush the square of dough with melted butter and sprinkle with brown sugar. Cover the dough with the candied fruit and nuts, and add the OKA Classique juliennes. On one side of the square, align the Maraschino cherries wih the edge of the dough. Roll the dough, making sure the cherries are at the center of the log and close the ends well. Brush with a mixture of eggs and water.
Place on the rack in the center of the oven and cook for 20 minutes.

  • 100g (3 1/2 oz) of OKA Classique, cut into thin juliennes
  • 12 oz (350g) pie dough
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) melted butter
  • 5 tbsp (75ml) dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) candied fruit
  • 12 red Maraschino cherries
  • 3 tbsp (45ml) finely chopped pecans
