OKA cheese pizza with sautéed mushrooms and Black Forest ham

If you don't have any OKA, you can use : OKA Classique or OKA L'Artisan

Place a large baking sheet in oven preheated to 400°F (200°C). Melt butter in a large frying pan. Cook mushrooms on medium high heat, stirring occasionally, until tender and liquid has evaporated. Garnish pizza crust with sautéed mushrooms, ham, parsley and cheese. Season to taste. Place pizza on baking sheet and bake eight to 10 minutes or until hot and cheese is melted.


Ingredients :
  • About 6 oz (180 g) Oka cheese, cut in short sticks
  • 2 tbsp (25 mL) butter
  • 1/2 lb (250 g) sliced mushrooms (button, cremini, portobellini or a blend of all three)
  • 1 (12 in. / 30 cm) pre-baked thin pizza crust
  • or extra large (10 in. / 25 cm) pita bread
  • 3 oz (90 g) Black Forest ham, thinly sliced
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper
