If you don't have any Jarlsberg, you can use : OKA L'Artisan or OKA
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Warm the butter in a pot. Add bacon and onions, cooking 5 minutes until golden. Add tomato cubes and cook two minutes. Blend well. Remove from heat. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the cream. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg. Mix well. Incorporate the liquid with the ingredients. Divide the preparation among the tartlets and cover each with grated cheese. Bake for about 15 minutes. Broil until golden. Serve hot.
- 7 oz (200 g) Jarlsberg cheese, grated
- 24 x 3 in (7.5 cm) tartlets, precooked
- 2 tblsps (30 ml) butter
- 1 tomato, cubed
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 6 slices bacon cut in small pieces
- 1 cup (250 ml) cream, 18 %
- 2 eggs
- Pinch of nutmeg
- Salt and pepper
