Jarlsberg Chili Con Carne

If you don't have any Jarlsberg, you can use : OKA L'Artisan or OKA
Preheat oven to 475°F (240°C). Sauté onions in butter and oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat for three minutes. Add all the meat and cook uncovered five minutes, stirring constantly.
Add seasoning and mix well. Pour in the beef broth. Add tomatoes, beans and corn, reduce heat and simmer uncovered 30 minutes. Stuff the peppers with the mixture and top with grated cheese.
Place over a baking sheet and cook for 15 minutes.
Serve with corn chips.
- 6 ounces (175 g) Jarlsberg cheese
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) butter
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) olive oil
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) red onions, minced
- 1/4 lb (125 g) lean ground beef
- 1/4 lb (125 g) lean ground pork
- 1/4 lb (125 g) lean ground veal
- 1 tsp (5 mL) chilli, crushed
- 1 tsp (5 mL) dried savoury
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) beef broth
- 1 can 398 mL crushed tomatoes
- 2 cups (500 mL) tin black kidney beans, rinsed and strained
- 1 cup (250 mL) whole grain corn
- 4 large green peppers, scooped out
