If you don't have any Brie Vaudreuil , you can use : Brie L'Extra or Le Roy Brie

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Brown onions in oil in a small pan until they are translucent. Add the tomatoes and, basil. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook for five minutes and set aside. Brown the garlic and mushrooms in butter in a pan until they change colour. Add the wine, parsley, salt and pepper. Stir well and set aside. Spread 1/5 of the tomato sauce on the bottom of an oven dish. Cover with three lasagna noodles. Cover noodles with the tomato mixture. Spread another 1/5 of the tomato sauce. Repeat the steps, substituting the tomato mixture with salami the first time and mushrooms the second time. Finish with the remaining sauce. Cover and cook in the oven for 40 minutes. Uncover and add the four cheese wedges. Let the cheese melt for 4 or 5 minutes and serve.

  • One wedge of Brie Vaudreuil, cut in 4 pieces (approximately 190g or 6 1/2 oz),2 tbsp (30ml) of olive oil
  • 1 small thinly sliced oinion
  • 2 fresh tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp (5ml) dried basil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) butter
  • 1 minced clove of garlic
  • 8 oz (227g) sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) white wine
  • 1 tsp) (5ml) dried parsley
  • 5 oz (130g) sliced salami
  • 12 lasagna noodles, uncooked
  • 2 cups (500ml) tomato sauce, homemade or bought
