Brie L'Extra & Pear Wedges

If you don't have any Brie L'Extra , you can use : Brie Claudel or Brie Vaudreuil

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Brush butter over edges of pizza shells and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Spread pear strips evenly over pizza shells. Blend herbs, cream, oil and salt in food processor. Roll cheese squares into mixture and spread evenly over each shell. Bake 10 minutes. Let cool before cutting each pizza into eight wedges. Serve immediately.


Ingredients :
  • 5 1/2 oz. (150 g) Brie L'Extra, sliced, then cut into 16 squares
  • 1/2 tablespoon (7.5 mL) melted butter
  • 1/2 tablespoon (7.5 mL) sesame seeds
  • Two 7-inch (18-cm) diameter pre-cooked pizza shells
  • 1 pear, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon (15 mL) fresh coriander
  • 1 tablespoon (15 mL) fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon (15 mL) 15% heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon (15 mL) olive oil
  • Salt to taste
