If you don't have any Brie Vaudreuil , you can use : Brie L'Extra or Le Roy Brie
Pour all sauce ingredients in a mixer. Bring to a smooth and creamy mixture. Set aside.
Slice loaves in two. Butter bottom piece. Place leaves of lettuce. Place slices of Black Forest ham over each Deli Sub and top with thin slices of Brie L'Extra cheese. Divide cucumber slices equally. Add finely cut dill. Pour the sauce over and top with the second half of the bread.
Serve with French fries.
- Deli Sub ingredients:
- 200 g (7 ounces) Brie L'Extra cheese
- 250 g (1/2 lb or 8 slices) Black Forest ham
- 4 small baguette type loaves
- 1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 4 tsp (20 mL) butter
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) fresh dill, finely cut
- 4 leaves of leaf lettuce
- Sauce ingredients:
- 3 tbsp (45 mL) plain yoghourt
- 1/8 tsp (0.6 mL) salt
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) Meaux mustard
- 1/8 tsp (0.6 mL) pepper
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) honey
