Simply Véronique

Véronique Rivest is simply known as Véronique. She is firstly a seasoned specialist. After winning the Concours du Meilleur Sommelier du Québec in May 2006 and the Best Sommelier of Canada award in September the same year, she represented Canada at the Best Sommelier in the World Competition in Rhodes (Greece) in May 2007, finishing in the top ten. In June 2007, she won the prestigious Wine Woman Awards Competition in Paris and was named 2007 Wine Woman Of The Year.

On top of knowing all the secrets of wine, Véronique is a great communicator thanks to twenty years in the restaurant industry and as a teacher and consultant for private companies and individuals. She is also a columnist for the Canadian Broadcasting Company (Ottawa / Gatineau), Le Droit (Ottawa / Gatineau region) and Châtelaine.
